Many are not aware that I have an invisible illness
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia back in 2011
Chronic pain can steal your joy if you let it!
2014 I had cervical spine surgery , C6 &C7 fusion was done
I was told that I may need surgery in another 5 years time,
and when the time came I was doing just fine!
In 2017 I reversed my spine health naturally by 10% -
An accomplishment a huge achievement all…
I stopped drawing
For a good majority of my life
I'm not sure why
I'm asking myself today
I wrote many poems
Quite a few years ago
I share personal feelings
Buried deep within me
I have open up this part you see
My story clearly helping me
I may have found the missing link
I asked myself recently you were no where to be found
I often wonder how I would feel if you came back around
I'm not sure why you went away
I longed for you to come out and play
I ask why I cant explain
I am speaking to my inner child
Even though I wonder if I would ever see you
I thought I'd be afraid of you
It's been so long that I let you go
